Today I took a placebo
Drowned in a bottle of wine
I found that it was good for me
As I’m now feeling divine

The world is a little brighter
With colours bouncing around
And the music in my head
Takes on an entirely new sound

Placebo is now my drug of choice
It’s efficacy quite profound
It’s better than the pills prescribed
Just needs the wine to get it down
