I am when I think
Therefore I exist
I think
To see my life
To think
But just so long
As I don’t blink

Today I took a placebo
Drowned in a bottle of wine
I found that it was good for me
As I’m now feeling divineThe world is a little brighter
With colours bouncing around
And the music in my head
Takes on an entirely new soundPlacebo is now my drug of choice
It’s efficacy quite profound
It’s better than the pills prescribed
Just needs the wine to get it down -
Yesterday, Wednesday, hump day
Pizza to choose, any kind
Plus a glass of the cheapest wine
For my pleasure in boozing
For the prince of sobriety
Nothing to gain by my loosing.Except, except, today not Wednesday time
Check again, check again
Some other day, masquerading
But just not the same as Wednesday
No matter
I’ll have the pizza, if you please
And your cheapest wine, if you please
At Wednesday’s prices, if you please
The rabbit hole waits for meBut just a dollar more, the score
One is a fist full for some,
Just wait until the cowboys come
But West was not won, in my dreams
By aliens in area 51 it seems.
As they drink whisky and rye
Singing to choose the way that they die
Pickled like a beef and bourbon pieHarness the atom, energy for free
Paradise beckons for all that be
The holy Trinity, a half life in decay
How many gods died on that dayAI takes control, its calculated risk
Logic rules, no opportunity to miss
To stop the next holy world war,
We must kill everyone for sure
Leaving cockroaches in my brain
Bunker in a rabbit hole is all the same -
It is easy to find beautiful words and inspirational quotations on the internet. The challenge is to find them in your own heart

I think of you, oh absent coffee
Your memory will persist for at least the next 10 minutes
For you are destined for the scrap heap of my toilet
As I piss your remnants down the drain
Oh and if you think you are special
Your arch-rival, wine, thinks otherwise
But for now, you are just a fading memory.
